I am diggin' the holidays this season. I have enjoyed the Christmas card giving and the gift giving more than I think I have ever. If the funds were greater at this point, I think I would even enjoy it more. ... but still I really am enjoying this time of year. We leave for Atlanta tomorrow morning ... really early. I think we are going to try to get on the road at about 3:00 ! We are planning on packing up the car tonight and getting everything ready to go... so we can just hop in and drive. Dax is dreading the trip... but I don't think it should be too bad. We are going to try to stop at is grandmothers house in Gatlinburg on the way. But, we will see how that goes. I am gearing myself up to NOT be annoyed with my MIL. It is all about state of mind. The really difficult part is going to be whether we can watch TV or not. She won't have stuff hooked up until Tuesday 12/27. I think we will be spending most of our time at our aunt and uncle's house watching football there. That way my MIL won't be able to try to tell us how to spend out time. Plus, Dax and I are all kinds of serious about betting on the games this week. I sooo need to redeem myself ... as for the last couple of weeks I have lost by two games. I like the idea of their HUGE wide screen TV... and spending time at aunt Pat's house. Dax is not looking forward to this trip... he doesn't want to drive there... he doesn't want to be there... he doesn't want to bring Wrigley.... etc. He just wants to go.. and do our time and come home. I on the otherhand, don't care. I like the idea of not having to go to work for a while, and get to have time in a new place. She lives on a golf course, so I am planning on some LONG walks with Wrigley. I wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season! 209975
