Sometimes we raise our guns of pain...

No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater...than Ralph's Italian Ices. The Peanut Butter Cookie Dough in fan-diddly-tastic. Resident Evil was a lot better than I was expecting it to be. Granted that's not saying much since I thought it was going to suck, but it was still pretty good. At least, pretty good as far as shoot em' up zombie movies go. Went to the diner with P and L afterwards. We go off on so many tangents, at least five times one of us had to ask "what was I talking aboot?" I finally figure out how to use Friendster. I was wondering why the girls profiles that were coming up all seemed to prefer other girls. The interview on Friday went really well, which is odd considering I don't remember applying for the job. It last an hour (including a 12 minute IQ test), and the woman commented, "are you always this confidant?" Me? Confident? That's a new one. I have another interview on Wednesday with a local college, for another job I don't entirely remember applying for. Unfortunately the new staffing agency was upset I couldn't take the temp job they had gotten for me. They can get upset all they want. I can't give up two interviews for permanent positions and an important focus group for a job that probably won't be around in a month. The good news is that I have two more weeks of unemployment, as opposed to only one like I thought. That will at least knock off my September bills before October rolls around. Shit, it's getting' close...You know what cracks me up? People like Sarah Jessica Parker doing commercials for the Gap. You know damn well she would never be caught dead in Gap clothes. Think aboot it the next time she's on the red carpet: "Jessica! Jessica! Over here! What are you wearing?" "The new caprice cargo pants, only $19.99 from the Gap!" Bitch please. In other news, today I learn how to use MS Access. I don't know exactly what the program is used for, but I do know that I need to know it and the four-hour class is free. I'm skipping the gym today to work on my resume, but I'll probably just wind up sitting around in my draws and watching TV. It doesn't need to be done until Monday morning anyways, so that I can bring it with me to my next workshop, "14 Ways to Land a Job." name: Turd Fergusson age: 29 where on earth do you live: Long Island, aka "God's Country" reason behind your LJ user name: the last decendent of Christ five things you want to do/accomplish before you die: find a job, live on the water, travel cross country, and i guess marriage and kids what makes you happy: music what have you been listening to lately: Taking Back Sunday, Death Cab for Cutie, and I just made myself a 311/Faith No More mix for the gym do you enjoy reading my LJ: i enjoy writing it if so, why: no reason interesting fact about you: that there's nothing interesting aboot me. are you in love at the moment: no favorite destination: there's a wodden bench that faces the Atlantic ocean.
