We just got out of the breakfast with our senior staff where they announced our Regional Director. It totally isn't who I thought and was hoping it would be. I was rather shocked. It is a guy, who will do a fine job.... I just was completely expecting someone else to be there. I am actually a little baffled. I told Dax that I had this meeting this morning and that I wanted to dress up a little more than normal. We started picking out clothes, and I picked out some shoes and we both said..."Oh no, those won't do... Matt will not approve." - at the same time. Matt is our Head of Sales for the whole company.. and is a very particular about his and others clothes ... and he is gay. You totally had to be there... and it was very funny for Dax and I. I had a good conversation with Dax about the way that we fight. I told him that I feel like when we fight, we are not working to come to a resolution, we are out for blood. I told him that I have come away pretty hurt and don't want to feel that way anymore. He totally heard me this time.... because he repeated it later and said that he doesn't want to do that anymore. I was thankful for that... so we will see if it happens.
